Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene is a synthetic rubber polymer. When added to standard asphalt shingles, it fundamentally changes how the shingle responds to impact. Standard asphalt shingles crack and crumble under hail. SBS-modified shingles flex on impact and return to their original shape, which is why they earn the Class 4 impact resistance rating and why Malarkey can offer a 50-year warranty behind them. This warranty is only available through Malarkey Certified Premium contractors like Fixins.

100% pure polymer, no asphalt, no fiberglass mat. F-Wave shingles have Class 4 impact resistance and Class A fire resistance without the vulnerabilities of traditional asphalt construction. Every Fixins F-Wave installation includes a 5-year hail warranty built into the product. If a hailstorm damages the shingles within 5 years of your installation date, they are replaced at no cost. This is a manufacturer warranty, not just a contractor promise, and it transfers with the home if you sell.
